o god

Ayyy it's pretty lit! Especially 40 sec part.
Feedback(i guess..): some note sounds off scale. Sometimes it can spice up your music, but most of the time it makes the music a bit awkward. You use them quite often in your tracks. Although it might be intended, I suggest reducing them a bit. It'll make your track a little bit 'focused'.
Speaking of focus, while the track was pretty fun to listen to, it kinda lacks main theme; that is, the whole track sounds like an infinitely long buildup. Dunno what to do with it... maybe try to stick with some "core" melody instead of thinking new melodies for each bar. In other words, try being a bit repetitive(in a good way of course! lol). Being (appropriately) repetitve helps people to remember your song easily.

thanks for the review! this track was kind of rushed, but i understand most of the problems listed here. the reason why it seems like a long buildup is because it's based off of a chord progression that i made a while back, and i didnt really know of much to do with it but i thought it sounded good enough to use in a song. the entire track was made in around the span of 5 hours, so i didnt really put that much effort into the structuring of it, as evidenced by the random shifts in melody and semi-abrupt end section. i had a decent amount of fun making this, even though i wouldnt really consider it my best track. i'll try to make some effort to improve on some of the things you mentioned in the future, but i can't guarantee for sure.

덥스텝이 아니라 하드코어/스피드코어인 듯요

woah.. that was.. something..
urm, I don't know what to say, but since you tagged this as 'trance', you might want to learn (actually simply to listen) such genres. I mean, the structure of the song is almost non-existent. That is, it feel like there bunch of individual songs that don't work well together compiled to single music. And yeah, there are some musicians that deliberately do these kinds of (chaotic-ish) thing, and if you're one of 'em, then ok. But personally, even then, this a bit too much.. Again, I haven't listened to your older work yet, so maybe I'm missing something here.

There's something really cool going on around 01:00 though. I don't know why like it, but maybe because of the chord progression and the melody. That part sounds pretty lit to me.

Anyways, there's something 'unique' going on your music, which is not necessarily a bad thing. (Maybe better than lifeless copy-paste music) But y'know, you need to follow some rules (no, not music theory) if you want other people to listen and enjoy. Comparing some other songs you like while composing may help.

This may sound a bit harsh, and I'm also a newbie composer who has no idea what I'm doing right now, but hope you don't mind.

Super-shape responds:

this is exactly the type of review i expected to get when i initially started making music, and i'm surprised i haven't gotten one like this sooner. in summary, in my songs i don't go by many rules, one of which being the concept of music genre. i don't have enough musical knowledge in terms of both music theory and track mixing to know what would be considered what genre. i actually don't listen to much EDM music at all and most of my melodic inspiration is rooted in the music of video games i like. in terms of how i decide to tag my music, i just throw in vague terms that i think might closely match to the song and hope that most of them do.
i don't find this review harsh at all. in fact, this review is basically how i would make a review for this song if i wasn't the person who made it. also, this is one of my more chaotic/less easy to understand songs so it's fair for you to feel this way. also also, i make all my songs in one sitting because i'm too dumb to afford to actually pay for any VST so i just use the free version which comes with the limitation of not being able to open saved projects. i don't have time to do rethinking on any of my songs, and if i do decide to rethink anything, i do so by not uploading the song and learning from my mistakes.

Quality chiptune right there! I love it.

Nice chill song in NG!

Thank goodness you're not dead!
